The NEW Experience 4K Progressive lenses are designed to support the patient’s eye and allow better focus. The lenses come with two new technologies designed to prevent eye strain and help the eyes focus more easily when switching between distance viewing and digital devices.

Experience the Difference

Experience 4K Progressive lenses provide a unique visual perception to your patients. Take a moment to view this short clip and learn what the lens has to offer and how you can present it to the patients in your vision center.

AdapDigital Technology

Considers the patient’s eye position to provide:

Best reading on handheld digital devices;

Excellent vision on print media.

  • Digital devices are held closer and higher to the face.

  • Traditional print, such as newspapers, are held further away from the face.

  • AdapDigital Technology ensures excellent vision and allows the patient to maintain natural body posture.

Balanced Vision Zone Technology

Wide fields of clear view in the distance:

  • Clear and wide distance and near zones

  • Smooth transitions from clear to blurred zones

  • Better balance between distance, intermediate, near and peripheral zones

It Starts with a First Impression

It all begins by making sure your patient is satisfied with their eyewear purchase. That starts by fitting and dispensing the glasses properly for the patient. Take a look at this short video clip for some important information regarding proper methods for checking in the Experience 4K Progressive Lens.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Here are a few frequently asked questions about the Experience 4K Progressive Lens. Take a moment and read through them. If you need further assistance, please view the contact tab. Feel out the form found under this tab and our customer service team will reach out to your vision center.

  • How does the Experience 4K Progressive Lens compare to older technologies from Walmart?

The New Experience 4K Progressive lens with its variable corridor is designed to help the eyes focus when switching between distance viewing and digital devices.  The corridor of the lens will vary based on the shape of the frame, PD measurements, vertex distance, and fitting height of the patient. When measuring the patient for the Experience 4K progressive lens, please make sure the frame has been adjusted to fit the patient correctly, and the entire lens cut out fits inside of the lens.

The New Experience 4K lens is the only Trivex progressive lens in the Walmart assortment that is backside digitally surfaced. This provides clearer, sharper vision for patients. It is also available in Extra Grey Velocity. Options for both Platinum Finish and Platinum Blue Light Protector provide more comfortable vision and easier to clean lenses.

  • What are the benefits to my patients?

    Patients will enjoy:

    ·    Clear, sharp vision for all distances and all-day comfort

    ·    Faster, easier focus, especially with digital devices

    ·    A fit for a broad range of frames

    ·   Optimization for each wearer’s prescription

    ·   Platinum Finish, Platinum Blue Light Protector, and Extra Grey Velocity Self-Tinting

  • What are the benefits of Trivex and why should you pass them on to your patient?

Trivex, with its higher Abbe Value (43-45) offers more clarity and fewer chromatic aberrations than Polycarbonate lenses. This material, when combined with AdapDigital technology, allows for a clearer and broader field of vision, making the Experience 4K one of the most advanced lenses in your portfolio. Additionally, Trivex has a lower density so it’s lighter than Polycarbonate.  In fact, it’s the lightest weighted material available!  Lastly, Trivex’s high impact resistance and high tensile strength means it’s a great fit for a wide range of frames, especially drilled rimless.

  • What is AdapDigital Technology and Balanced Vision Zone Technology? How are they used to benefit my patients?

AdapDigital Technology is an important feature included with this lens that allows a patient to see their handheld digital devices.

Balanced Vision Zone Technology ensures a smooth transition between the distance, intermediate, and near zones. It balances the optics of the lens design for both eyes, which helps to minimize prismatic effects, and differences in power. Essentially, allowing both eyes to experience uninterrupted binocular vision.

  • Is the Experience 4K Progressive lens compensated?

The Experience 4K Progressive is a compensated lens. Compensated lenses offer patients clearer vision across the entire surface of the lens. To achieve this, the lens power may differ from the prescribed power written by the doctor. It considers face form, pantoscopic tilt, and vertex distance to ensure your patient experiences the ideal lens power across the entire surface of the lens. When preparing to dispense, the compensation ticket included by ZEISS and/or the work ticket sent by the WM labs should be used to verify the power.

  • What Velocity X self-tinting colors are available for the Experience 4K Progressive lens?

The Experience 4K lenses are available with Extra Grey Velocity X. Grey is the most dispensed color of Velocity X self-tinting lenses worldwide, with a neutral color suitable for any application and fast fade back. Velocity X also protects against potentially harmful blue light. Patients will have the benefit of 50% protection against potentially harmful blue light while wearing these lenses inside. When activated outside, they protect against 95% of potential harmful blue light.

  • What Anti-Reflective coating options are available with the lens?

Experience 4K lenses can be ordered in Trivex without an Anti-Reflective coating. All materials are also offered with Platinum Finish Anti-Reflective coating and Platinum Blue Light Protector Anti-Reflective Coating. Platinum Blue Light Protector is especially recommended for patients that use digital devices daily.

  • Are the new Experience 4K Trivex lenses covered under a warranty?

Yes, the New Experience 4K Trivex lenses are covered by the Walmart warranty when purchased through the Vision Center. If your state does not have the Walmart warranty, this does not apply.
